This Privacy Policy explains how ConductX (“we”, “us”, “the App”) collects,
uses, and shares information when you use the ConductX mobile application
and related services at

1. Who we are
ConductX helps musicians identify songs from humming or listening and
turn pitch into sheet-music–oriented workflows.

2. Information we collect
2.1 Account / authentication

Email address — used for magic-link sign-in.
Authentication is provided by Supabase. We use your email to send
one-time login links and to associate your signed-in session with
optional cloud features.
2.2 Microphone audio (Listen / Hum)

When you tap Listen or Hum, the App
may access your device microphone and capture short audio for song
recognition.

That audio is sent to AudD solely to identify the
song. Microphone access is requested only for this listening feature;
you can revoke permission at any time in your device’s system settings.

We do not use microphone audio for advertising.
2.3 Scores and app data

Local storage — scores and related app state may be
saved on your device (for example in localStorage / on-device storage).

Optional cloud storage — if you are signed in, scores
may also sync to Supabase so you can access them across devices.
2.4 Technical / device data

Standard technical information may be processed by our providers or by
Apple / Google when you download or update the App through their stores
(for example device type, OS version, crash diagnostics as configured
by the platform). ConductX V1 does not include a third-party advertising
network.
3. How we use information
- To authenticate you and maintain your session (email / magic link).
- To identify songs from audio you choose to submit via Listen / Hum (AudD).
- To store and sync your scores locally and, if signed in, in the cloud.
- To respond to support requests you send to hello@conductx.music.
- To operate, secure, and improve the App.
4. How we share information
We do not sell your personal data.
We share information only as needed with:

AudD — audio submitted for song recognition.
See AudD’s own privacy terms for how they process recognition requests.

Supabase — authentication (email magic links) and
optional cloud storage of scores when you are signed in.

Apple / Google — if you obtain the App through the
App Store or Google Play, those platforms process distribution-related
data under their own policies.

Service providers who help us host or operate the App, under
confidentiality and only as needed to provide the service.

Authorities when required by law, or to protect rights, safety, and
security.
5. Microphone permission
Microphone access is used only when you actively use Listen / Hum.
You can deny or later revoke permission in iOS or Android settings.
Without microphone permission, song identification via Listen / Hum
will not work; other parts of the App may still be usable.
6. Data retention

Account email and cloud scores are kept while your account is active,
or until you ask us to delete them (subject to legal retention needs).

Local scores remain on your device until you clear app data or
uninstall the App.

Audio sent to AudD for recognition is processed for that purpose;
we do not operate an advertising profile from that audio.
7. Security
We use industry-standard measures appropriate to our size and the nature
of the data (including HTTPS and provider-side controls from Supabase and
related infrastructure). No method of transmission or storage is 100%
secure.
8. Children
ConductX is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum
age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal
information from children. If you believe a child has provided us data,
contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
9. Your choices and rights
- Revoke microphone permission in system settings.
- Stop using cloud sync by signing out; local data may remain on device.

Request access, correction, or deletion of personal data we hold by
emailing hello@conductx.music.

Depending on where you live (for example EU/UK GDPR, California CCPA),
you may have additional rights. Contact us to exercise them.
10. International transfers
Our providers (including Supabase and AudD) may process data in countries
other than yours. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards
offered by those providers.
11. Changes
We may update this Policy. The “Effective date” above will change when we
do. Continued use of the App after an update means you accept the revised
Policy. Material changes will be highlighted on this page when practical.
